The Walkers, a family of five,  is looking for a new home for a low price. They’ve been downgrading since Dr Walker had an accident at work. A mysterious accident. The oldest daughter is a fifteen year old girl named Cordelia. The middle child is a thirteen year old boy called Brendan. The youngest is an eight year old girl named Eleanor, or Nell. They find a low-price, ‘charming, rustic, woodsy jewel’ type of house, as described by the real estate agent. In truth, I think the house should have sold for at least a million dollars.
