A series of Unfortunate events, by Lemony Snicket, is a very strange book. Throughout each book in the series the author is constantly telling you to go and read something more cheerful. But do not listen. They are wonderful books and it would be wise of you not to put them down.
These books follow the journey of the Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Klaus and Sunny. Violet (The eldest) is an amazing inventor. Whenever she starts to think of an invention, she will tie her hair up. Klaus (The middle child) is a walking dictionary. He reads almost everything, and Violet and Sunny can depend on him to tell them anything they want to know. Sunny (The youngest) is still a baby but can communicate with her siblings through go’s and gah’s. Violet and Klaus are the only ones who can understand her. These stories follow their escape from the evil man, Count Olaf. I recommend this book to absolutely anyone. Its a fantastic read, and fun to enjoy. There are 13 books in the series, and so there is a lot of reading to enjoy. These books are rather humorous, full of adventure and smart ideas. This is a definite read for everyone.
