Ugly is one of the best books I’ve ever read; some parts are sad and some parts of the book make you want to jump for joy. It’s great because it’s non-fiction. If you’ve ever read the book wonder and you liked it, you’ll love Ugly but I believe Ugly is better because it has a twist, it’s real! This bojgy Robert was born with a deformed face and tells you how he survived in a society where a ticket into the world is your face. I would suggest this book to anyone who loves a story with a little bit of everything e.g. hope, sadness, reality. It’s a great story! This book is best suited for anyone aged 9-14, but adults will love it as well.
